Join me @DemandPoet my first live custom poetry event in Missouri. I can’t wait to be back at the keys, out in the world, anywhere but inside my house.

What to Expect
Come along and give me a topic. Feel free to hang out or go enjoy the shopping for a bit. When you return you’ll receive an original poem typed on fresh off of my Olivetti typewriter — usually on a nice sheet of easily-framable 5×7 paper. Request one for yourself or for someone you love.
Things to Know
–> There will be some typos … that’s part of the analog charm!
–> Pay what you can for this unique writing service. Suggested donations $30, $40, $100. 1 MILLION DOLLARS mmmwhahahaha.
–> All proceeds from this event will be forwarded to the Foster Adopt Connect Give Joy program.

WHo am I?
Elizabeth G. Howard has been performing Demand Poetry since 2008 at live and virtual events in Connecticut where she previously lived. Her most recent event was a 2021 virtual Valentine’s Weekend of Demand Poems on Instagram. She lives with her husband and their four adopted teens in Lee’s Summit. Learn more on my About page.
